Catholic Mission celebrates work with Indigenous Australians

Posted on September 23, 2011

Last night at Kirribilli House, the Prime Minister’s official Sydney residence, Catholic Mission held a special event to support Aboriginal people.

Highlights of the evening were Carmelita Perdjert and Angela Ninnal from Wadeye who through story, song and prayer shared some of their life with us. Graeme Mundine gave an inspiring address, which he dedicated to Dr Peter Sharp Medical director of Winnunga Nimmityah Aboriginal Health service in Canberra who passed away last weekend. A special treat was the stunning performance from Casey Donovan, who mesmerised the audience with her beautiful voice.
