About

The ACM Sydney is a Catholic ministry providing pastoral care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Sydney. We work with the Catholic Church and the wider community to promote greater understanding of Aboriginal peoples, cultures and issues of concern. We provide education resources and are advocates on justice issues affecting and concerning Aboriginal Australians.

  • We have two monthly Aboriginal masses. First Sunday of the month at the Church of Reconcilation – La Perouse and third Sunday of the Month at St Mary’s Erskineville.
  • We regularly run events such as bible studies, prayer evenings which help us explore our faith life from an Aboriginal perspective.
  • We produce resources on Indigenous theology, spirituality as well as issues of concern to Aboriginal people.
  • We are available to give talks, workshops or develop other programs which help create a greater understanding of Aborignal peoples, spiritualities, and justice issues.
